Review Guidelines
How to write a great review
Helpful reviews are honest, specific, and fair. These guidelines explain how to get the most out of your review — and keep it published.
Understanding the rating scale
PR.Wiki uses a 1–5 star rating. Each star level has a specific meaning — use the guide below to choose the rating that best reflects your experience.
Tips for a credible review
Reviews that follow these tips are more useful to readers and less likely to be flagged or removed.
Write while it's fresh
Reviews written close to the experience are more accurate and more useful to readers. Aim to submit within a few weeks of the interaction.
Be specific
Vague reviews like "great person" or "terrible" don't help anyone. Describe what happened, what was said, and why it mattered.
Be balanced
Even in a negative review, acknowledge what went well if anything did. Balanced reviews are more credible and more likely to be trusted.
Match your rating to your words
A glowing review with a 2-star rating — or a scathing review with 5 stars — undermines your credibility. Make sure your score reflects your text.
Avoid personal attacks
Critique actions and outcomes, not personal characteristics. Reviews that attack appearance, identity, or unrelated personal traits will be removed.
One review per experience
Submit one review per genuine interaction. Duplicate reviews from the same person skew ratings and will be removed by our moderation team.
Review categories
When submitting a review, you'll be asked to choose a category. Pick the one that best describes the context of your experience.
Verified reviews carry more weight
When you verify your identity on PR.Wiki, your reviews are marked as verified and count twice as much in a person's weighted rating. Verification helps the community trust your feedback more — and gives your voice more impact.
